At DanceSport Academy of Granger, we use a proven three-part learning system that combines Private Lessons, Group Classes, and Practice Parties to help our students progress faster and retain what they learn.

Group Classes & Practice Parties

STYLE & TECHNIQUE

The goal of our Style & Technique group class is to build comfort and confidence in the technical fundamentals of each dance style. By rotating styles and focus areas each week, we refine the details that make your dancing smoother, more natural for both you and your partner, and infused with extra style.

SOCIAL BALLROOM

Social Ballroom is a fun, relaxed group class designed to build confidence on the dance floor. Each week features a different ballroom or social dance, giving you the chance to explore a variety of styles while improving your fundamentals. Perfect for beginners and experienced dancers alike, this class focuses on practical patterns, lead-and-follow skills, and dancing comfortably with a partner in real social settings. 

PRACTICE PARTIES

Open to all DSA Granger members and guests, no matter your level.
These social dance parties are the perfect place to practice your moves, connect with others, and have fun on the dance floor. Enjoy a lively mix of Ballroom, Latin, Swing, and Social Latin music in a relaxed, welcoming environment designed to help you grow your confidence and party skills.

BALLROOM WOROUT

 

Ballroom Workout is a nonstop, ballroom-inspired cardio class led by nationally ranked professional dancer and instructor Rachel Len. This high-energy workout blends familiar ballroom and Latin styles—such as Rumba, Waltz, Cha-Cha, Salsa, Swing, Merengue, and more—into a fun, dynamic fitness experience (with a few new favorites you’ll discover along the way).

The repetitive structure makes this class ideal for beginners building strong muscle memory and confidence in the basics, while also offering plenty of challenge for experienced dancers who want to refine technique, styling, and performance quality.

New to ballroom dancing? No worries at all. Multiple levels and modifications are demonstrated throughout the class, so you can tailor the workout to your comfort level while still getting an effective, feel-good sweat.
